Q. How much should I pay for a credit card processing terminal?

A. The processing terminal should be supplied to you at NO CHARGE. Do not pay for a terminal in any way. DO NOT lease a terminal, this would be paying for the terminal over time and be very expensive. Americard, Inc. will supply a new terminal to you free of charge.

Q. Is there a difference in credit card processing terminals?

A. Yes! From time to time credit card processing terminals will need software upgrades. These upgrades should be free and automatic. The terminal we provide will look for upgrades when it automatically closes the days sales every night. If there is a software upgrade it is automatically down loaded to the terminal at that time. You do nothing to make this happen, SIMPLE!

Q. How long should it take to receive funds from credit card sales?

A. Your funds should be deposited in your account at the latest on the next business day.

Q. Is the credit card information I process for my customers secure?

A. Through Americard, Inc. your customers data is protected by P2Pe (Point to Point Encryption). The objective of P2Pe is to provide a payment security solution that instantaneously converts confidential payment card (credit and debit card) data and information into indecipherable code at the time the card is processed to prevent hacking and fraud. It is designed to maximize the security of payment card transactions in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Q. I hear allot about PCI Compliance, what is that?

A. Payment card industry (PCI) compliance is mandated by credit card companies to help ensure the security of credit card transactions in the payments industry. Payment card industry compliance refers to the technical and operational standards that businesses follow to secure and protect credit card data provided by cardholders and transmitted through card processing transactions. PCI standards for compliance are developed and managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. Americard, Inc. takes care of your PCI Compliance, no forms to fill out on your end.

Q. What if I have a question after business hours?

A. Americard, Inc. has 24/7 Technical support at no charge. You will talk to a live person that can answer any question you may have. You will not get bounced from department to department looking for the right person for your specific question.

Q. How am I billed for the processing charges?

A. Through Americard, Inc. your funds will be deposited the next business day and the fees will be drafted from your business checking account at the end of the month in one lump sum. This makes book keeping very simple, one ledger adjustment per month.
